To submit your game for consideration, please follow the guidelines below:

Step 1: Send an Email

Submit your pitch to [email protected].
This address goes directly to the AEG team responsible for evaluating and selecting new games for development.

One Game per Email: You’re welcome to pitch multiple games, but please send each game in a separate email.

Step 2: Include These Materials

If this is your first time submitting to AEG, include:

Your Designer Introduction
A short background about who you are, your design journey, and anything you’d like us to know.

All submissions should include:

A One-Page Sell Sheet
This should quickly convey your game’s theme, core mechanics, player count, playtime, and what makes it unique.
A Short Overview Video (2–3 Minutes Max)
Show us how your game works and what makes it special. This doesn’t need to be fancy—clarity is what matters most.

Step 3: Answer These Key Questions

In your sell sheet, video, or both, be sure to answer:

What’s the elevator pitch?
The one-sentence hook that gets someone excited to learn more.
Why is this game a good fit for AEG?
Think about tone, audience, replayability, or how it complements our existing catalog.
What are the most fun moments in the game—and how often do they happen during play?
Help us understand the emotional arc of a session.
What’s the unique selling point?
What makes this game stand out in a crowded market?
What keeps people coming back?
Highlight the replayability, depth, or social dynamics that bring players to the table again.

What Makes a Good Sell Sheet for AEG

Each of the following points should be included, briefly and clearly:

Standard game info: Time to play, recommended age range, and number of players (the same info that would go on a game box).
Component list: A rough list of components helps us understand potential manufacturing costs and complexity.
Core mechanics: Identify the main game mechanisms—especially if they align with known categories (e.g., worker placement, deck building, area control). Referencing BGG categories can be helpful.
Theme: What’s the setting, world, or story of the game?
Player role: Who or what do players represent in the game?
Visuals: Include pictures of the prototype or game in action.
Contact info: Make sure your name and email are easy to find.

What Makes a Good Video for AEG

Keep it short (2–3 minutes), focused, and clear:

Core mechanics: Walk us through how the game works at a high level.
Table presence: Show a clear view of the game set up. Prototypes don’t need to look final, but we should be able to imagine the finished product.
Gameplay examples: Highlight one or two moments that capture how the game plays.
Answer key questions: Use the video to cover major pitch points—your elevator pitch, unique selling point, fun moments, and replay appeal.
